Meet The Team

Co-Founder / Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
David Sorokine
David is a researcher specializing in building stock analysis and sustainable housing. He completed a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Engineering and Design at McGill University, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the same institution. His academic and professional work has focused on advancing tools for deep energy retrofits, incorporating methods such as material flow analysis, life-cycle assessment, and multi-criteria decision-making.

At DAM Housing, David concentrates on applying these approaches to the housing sector, where he develops frameworks to identify high-impact retrofit and extension opportunities. His work bridges data analysis, policy, and design, with the aim of creating scalable strategies that address both the housing shortage and long-term decarbonization goals.
